  Ferranti Counter With Numicators
  This Ferranti counter was used on a production line at the manufacturing plant in Greenock.

It is on display to demonstrate how numeric information was presented using Numicators before the advent of 7-segment technology. The Numicator is a neon tube which contains wire frames, one behind the other, containing the outline of each numeral. The high voltage source is connected between a common anode and the desired cathode grid to display the numeral.
