IBM Magnetic Card Selectric Typewriter Card
The IBM Magnetic Card was introduced with the Magnetic Card Selectric Typewriter (MC/ST). It has fifty tracks, laid out longitudinally, 100 character codes long. Each recorded code corresponds to a character (Aplphameric or Control). The original card could hold the equivalent of one typed page. Capacity was later increased.
